Tilting louvres operated by a crank handle let you switch effortlessly between an open, sun-filled space and a fully sheltered one — ideal for the unpredictability of British weather. When the louvres are closed, rainwater flows into U-shaped channels within the pergola's horizontal framework, then down through the hollow legs to the ground. This integrated drainage system keeps water completely out of sight and, even if you open the louvres while wet, prevents rainwater from dripping into the sheltered area below.
