At the core of every Protex cover is Hexgrid anti-rip technology, drawn from the hexagonal patterns found in beehives and renowned for their strength and durability. This natural design is enhanced with a TPU membrane, which offers superior elasticity, durability, and temperature resistance, and is manufactured through a cleaner process than standard polyester.
The triple-layer waterproof fabric shields your parasol from dirt, rain, and snow, helping to maintain its condition for years to come. With a 3000mm waterproof rating — well above the 1000mm to 2000mm typical of standard covers — your furniture stays dry whether facing a light drizzle or a heavy downpour. For ultimate protection, each cover is double-stitched and heat-welded at the seams, ensuring maximum waterproofing and long-term reliability.
A great cover needs to stay in place as well as keep out the rain. Built-in fastening straps and buckles secure the cover firmly to your furniture, preventing it from being lifted by strong winds. Side belts allow for a tighter, neater fit that reduces sagging and improves overall coverage, while air vents enhance airflow to reduce condensation and prevent mould and mildew from taking hold.
For best results, clear away any pooled water after heavy rain to prevent excessive weight on the cover.
