Description
Titan Sky View Free Standing 4.0m x 3.0m Manually Retracting Pergola
The British garden usually forces a choice: sun or shelter, never both. The Titan Sky View Free Standing 4.0m x 3.0m Manually Retracting Pergola settles it. Closed, the louvres interlock into a solid roof for shade and cover. Open, they retract to one side and clear the roof, so you get open sky overhead. Shade when it’s hot, shelter when it turns, and real open sky the moment you want it, all from the same roof, with no compromise either way. It’s what turns a patio you use twice a summer into a genuine extra room you use whatever the weather’s doing.
It works by hand: a simple crank opens or closes the roof in around 45 seconds on smooth roller bearings and low-friction tracks. There’s no motor, no electrics and no circuit board, so there’s nothing to break down a year or two in and no power needed to open your own roof.
The whole structure is 6063-T5 extruded aluminium with a Tiger Drylac powder-coated finish on both frame and louvres, so it won’t rust, rot, warp or fade. It’s rated to 83 mph winds and an 86 kg/m² snow load, built to stand through the worst of a British winter. It’s the same aluminium build quality that runs through the rest of the Titan pergola range.
The double-layered louvres dampen the drum of heavy rain so a downpour doesn’t drown out the conversation, and the insulated air gap between them helps hold warmth in on a cold evening and keep heat out on a hot afternoon. Closed, they interlock and channel rainwater down and out through an integrated gutter system in the beams and legs, keeping everything underneath dry.
At 4.0m x 3.0m it comfortably covers a six-seat dining set, a corner sofa or a hot tub, a proper room rather than a patch of cover. You can light it, warm it and enclose it however suits your garden with our lights, pergola heaters, louvred side walls, glass sliding doors and privacy screens from the full range of Titan pergola accessories.
